Airport pickup
Meeting your chauffeur
at Sydney Airport.
How an airport pickup works from landing to leaving the kerb, with guidance for each terminal and what to do if your flight changes.
Your booking confirmation is the authority
Sydney Airport's pickup arrangements differ by terminal and change from time to time, and the right meeting point can also depend on your vehicle class and the time of day. For that reason we confirm the exact meeting arrangement in writing for each booking rather than publishing a single fixed instruction here. The guidance below explains how a pickup works in general — always follow your booking confirmation on the day. If anything is unclear, contact your chauffeur on the number in your pickup message, or email book@sydneyairportchauffeurservice.com.au.
Terminals
T1, T2 and T3
Sydney Airport operates from separate terminal buildings. Telling us the right one at booking is what lets us put your chauffeur in the right place.
T1
T1 International
International arrivals and departures.
International arrivals involve immigration and baggage reclaim, so we plan additional time after your flight lands before your pickup. Once you have cleared customs and collected your luggage, follow the arrangement in your booking confirmation. If anything is unclear when you land, contact your chauffeur on the number in your pickup message before leaving the terminal.
T2
T2 Domestic
Domestic services including Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Rex.
Domestic arrivals clear much faster than international, so pickups are timed closer to your landing time. Collect any checked luggage from the carousel, then follow the arrangement in your booking confirmation.
T3
T3 Domestic
Domestic Qantas services.
T3 handles Qantas domestic flights and sits alongside T2 on the eastern side of the airport. Because T2 and T3 are separate buildings, telling us the correct terminal at booking matters — collect your luggage, then follow the arrangement in your confirmation.
Not sure which terminal your flight uses? Your airline's booking confirmation will say, or you can leave the terminal field blank when you book and give us the flight number instead — we can work it out from that.
On arrival
What to do when you land.
Keep your phone on
Turn your phone off flight mode once you land. If we need to reach you — or you need to reach us — that is how it happens.
Clear the terminal first
Collect checked luggage before heading to meet your chauffeur. We build the wait into the pickup time, so there is no need to rush.
Check your confirmation
Your booking confirmation sets out the meeting arrangement for your specific terminal and booking. It is the authoritative instruction — follow it over anything general on this page.
Tell us if anything changes
Diverted, delayed, or a terminal change? Let us know as soon as you can — reply to your confirmation email and we will adjust rather than have your chauffeur waiting on the original plan.
Departing from Sydney Airport
For drop-offs, tell us your flight departure time and we work backwards to set the pickup — accounting for the time of day on the route and the check-in time your airline requires.
We drop at the departures level for your terminal and your chauffeur assists with luggage to the kerb. If you are checking in oversized items or travelling at a peak time, mention it when you book so we can allow extra margin.
If your flight is delayed
This is exactly why we ask for your flight number and airline at booking — it lets our team look up your flight and plan around a change rather than working from the original time only.
If you know about a delay, diversion or terminal change before or after you land, tell us as early as you can. The sooner we know, the more easily we can adjust.
