Rather than booking each leg separately, keep the car and chauffeur with you. Between appointments the vehicle waits, so you are not re-booking or waiting for a car at every stop.
You tell us the start time and roughly how many hours you need. The chauffeur stays with you for that period, including waiting between stops. If the day runs longer than planned, we extend where the schedule allows.
Hourly hire is a minimum of three hours, booked online like any other journey. The hourly rate depends on the vehicle class you choose.
How it works
You are booking time, not a route.
With hourly hire the car and chauffeur are held for a block of hours and where you go inside that block is up to you. There is no itinerary to file in advance and no per-journey fare to agree each time you get back in.
That is the difference that matters on a day with several movements: nobody is rebooking between stops, luggage and coats stay in the boot, and a plan that changes at lunchtime is simply a conversation with the driver.
What people use it for
Three or more stops, and it stops being transfers.
The usual cases are a day of business meetings across the city, a wedding where the timeline will move, a shopping or dining day where the end time is genuinely unknown, and visitors seeing Sydney without wanting to work out parking.
As a rule of thumb: two journeys at either end of a day are cheaper as two transfers. Three or more movements usually work out better — and considerably less fiddly — as a block.

Once confirmed, your chauffeur and vehicle are allocated. You can follow the booking on your private tracking link, which updates as the job progresses.

Your chauffeur meets you at the agreed point and takes it from there.

A day beyond Sydney, at your own pace.
The same arrangement works for a day out of town. The car stays with you, so a run to the Hunter Valley or the Blue Mountains is not a one-way transfer plus the problem of getting back.
You set the stops and the pace rather than working around a timetable, and the fare is agreed before you travel rather than accumulating as the day goes.

How does hourly hire work?
You book a block of time, and the car and driver stay with you for it. Where you go within that block is up to you.
Is there a minimum booking?
Yes — hourly hire is a minimum of three hours. Tell us the hours you need and we will confirm availability before you commit.
Can I change the itinerary during the day?
Yes. That is the point of it: the car is held for you, so a change of plan is a conversation with the driver rather than a new booking.
Can luggage stay in the car between stops?
Yes. The vehicle is yours for the block, which is why hourly hire suits a day of meetings or a shopping day better than separate trips.
Is hourly hire better value than several transfers?
For three or more movements in a day, usually. For two trips at either end of a day, separate transfers are generally cheaper.
