The most-requested route we run. A direct, private transfer between Sydney Airport and the city — your hotel, your office, or your front door — with no stops for other passengers along the way.
We drop directly at the hotel entrance wherever access allows, and your chauffeur helps with luggage to the door. Give us the hotel name in your booking and we will confirm the arrangement.
Many CBD buildings have specific loading or drop-off arrangements. Include the full address when you book and, if there is a preferred entrance, tell us in the special requirements field.
The route
Eleven kilometres, and the hour decides the rest.
The Sydney CBD is about eleven kilometres from the terminals — roughly twenty to twenty-five minutes when the road is clear, by way of the Eastern Distributor.
In the weekday peaks, between about 7am and 9am and again from 4pm to 7pm, that same trip takes appreciably longer. On a metered fare that congestion is billed to you by the minute. On a pre-booked transfer the number was agreed before you left, so the traffic is our problem rather than a figure climbing on a screen.
Door to door
Where the train stops and a car keeps going.
The airport train is quick — Sydney Airport puts the city at thirteen minutes — and for one person with a cabin bag it is hard to beat. The station access fee is the complication: it is charged per person, including children, so a family of four pays four of them and still has to get from the station to the door.
A car finishes the journey. City hotels differ in where a vehicle can legally stop, so give us the hotel name and the street address when you book and the driver plans for the entrance rather than the postcode.

Late arrivals
The last flights of the night.
After about 11pm the airport empties quickly and the options narrow in a predictable order: public transport thins first, then the taxi rank, then rideshare availability and pricing.
A pre-booked car is unaffected by any of it, because the arrangement existed before the demand did. For a late international arrival — especially one heading somewhere the train does not reach — it is the single most useful thing to have organised in advance.

How long does the airport to CBD transfer take?
About 20 to 25 minutes outside peak for the 11 kilometre trip, longer between 7–9am and 4–7pm.
Is a car better than the train for this route?
For one person travelling light to a station, the train is quick and cheap. For luggage, a group, children or a door-to-door arrival, the car is the one that finishes the journey.
Will the driver know my hotel?
Give us the hotel name and address at booking. City hotels differ in where a car can legally stop, and the driver plans for the entrance rather than the postcode.
What if I land late at night?
The booking stands. A pre-booked car is unaffected by how thin the alternatives get after the last trains.
Can I pay by company account?
Yes, for account customers. Otherwise the fare is settled when you book, so nothing changes hands in the car.
