A cruise transfer is not an airport transfer. Luggage is heavier, the party is often larger, and the timing is set by the ship rather than by you — everyone boards in the same window, and everyone disembarks in the same one.
That is why these are booked as their own service. We plan the drop-off around your boarding time, and the larger classes are usually the right answer because cruise luggage does not fit a sedan the way a carry-on does. Your chauffeur helps with the bags at both ends.
Disembarkation is the harder half. Thousands of people leave a terminal at once, which is the worst possible moment to be looking for a car. Having one already arranged, with a chauffeur who knows which flight or address you are heading to next, is the whole point.

The terminals
Circular Quay and White Bay.
Sydney boards cruise passengers at two places, and they are nothing alike. The Overseas Passenger Terminal sits at Circular Quay beside the Opera House, in the middle of the city and its traffic. White Bay is at Glebe Island, west of the Harbour Bridge, reached through Rozelle.
Which one you are using changes the route, the timing and where the car can stop. Your ticket names it — tell us at booking and the journey is planned around the right one.

Boarding and disembarking
The ship sets the clock, not you.
A cruise transfer runs to a window rather than a departure time. Everyone in your boarding group arrives inside the same hour, and on the return everyone comes off the ship inside the same one — so the kerb outside a terminal is at its busiest exactly when you need it.
We plan the drop-off around your boarding window and the pickup around disembarkation, and we size the vehicle for cruise luggage rather than airline luggage. Cases at sea are larger, and there are usually more of them.

Which cruise terminal does my ship use?
Check your cruise documents. Sydney has two — the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay and White Bay Cruise Terminal at Rozelle — on opposite sides of the harbour.
How do drivers reach White Bay Cruise Terminal?
Port Authority of NSW advises that cruise-day access is only via The Crescent and James Craig Road, not Robert Street in Balmain, and that drivers should ignore navigation suggesting otherwise.
Can I park at the cruise terminal while I sail?
Not at White Bay — Port Authority states there is no long-term parking, the car park is short-stay to a 15 minute maximum, and the drop-off outside the terminal is limited to two minutes.
How much luggage can a cruise transfer take?
It depends on the vehicle: a sedan takes two large cases, a van five. Cruise luggage tends to be bulky, so give us the real count when booking.
Should I fly in the day before I sail?
If you can. A same-day arrival leaves no margin for a delayed flight, and the boarding window is not negotiable.
Can you collect us when the ship docks?
Yes. Give us the ship and the terminal, and the driver will be there for disembarkation — at White Bay, ask them to call on arrival, which is Port Authority's own advice.
